The Book was an interesting look on Vampire culture, teens and christian literature. I think the Characters were well written And i was left wanting more.The Author made a great set up for the second book for sure with plenty of unanswered questions!I can't wait for this book to get onto more peoples shelves and I can't wait for a signing and i would like to meet the real Maggie from the "Not To The Reader"
This was a creatively composed piece of literture containing chiffhangers that made me want to know what was left unsaid. It was a clean, flowing, comfortable work that brought in the world of god and the world of the supernatural creatures wrapped into the life of a teenager in high school, Magnificent. It took me into another place where a foreign Language, like ASL, could do so much for friends, where i could believe that the person next to me could have a sixth sense for dangerous spirits or have the ability to call things into the open and reveal what is needed. I really enjoyed the book and connected quite often with it as some of the same things happened in my own family - mainly the death of two impotant people in my life. I connected with Magnificent a lot as well since I am very protective like her and quite stubborn occasionally. Lastly, I loved how it was a book that didn't dress up the teenage life but rather captured to true life of a teenager when crisis happenes and heavy decisions are set upon them.
This book didn't catch my attention it was very boring from the beginning and didn't allow me to continue reading.

It was confusing and too dark for me
It was bad. I didn't even finish it and read almost anything once. I just deleted it from my library.
This is not my style of reading. It took me many starts and stops to finish this book. It is unusual reading. I'm sure others may like this, I didn't.
Interesting take on the unusual. Keeps you intrigued waiting to see what will happen next. Some off skipping sequences, but doesn't detract from the story line.
